How much will I make?

The comp plan is set for 75 basis points on a purchase transaction and 50 basis points for refinances.  For example on a $500,000 purchase loan, the compensation would be $3,750 (500,000 x 0.75%).

Why is the comp plan less on refinances vs purchases?

The market has become more competitive in the refinance space and  borrowers are more able to shop.  We maintain below market rates on refinances to capture more clients and defend against the ultra-competitive landscape.
